About this tool
Reports, theses, contracts and handouts are much easier to navigate — and to print — when the pages are numbered. This tool stamps clean, readable page numbers directly into the PDF file on your own device. Nothing is uploaded, and the rest of the page content is left untouched.
Frequently asked questions
Can I start numbering from a number other than 1?
Yes — set the "Start at" value. This is handy when the document is part of a larger set, or when you don't want the cover page to count as page 1.
Will the numbers overlap my content?
Numbers are placed in the page margins (about 1 cm from the edge), which are empty in most documents. If your pages have unusually tight margins, try a different corner position.
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. The numbering happens entirely in your browser — your document never leaves your device.
