Crop PDF
Trim wide margins, scanner edges or unwanted parts of a page — draw the crop area on a live preview and download the result.
How to crop a PDF
- Add your PDF file above — the first page appears as a preview.
- Drag on the preview to draw the crop rectangle. Redraw it any time to adjust.
- Choose whether to crop all pages or just this one, then click Crop & Download.
About this tool
Scans often come with big black edges, and documents made for print carry wide margins that waste screen space on phones and e-readers. Cropping fixes both — and since this tool runs entirely in your browser, even sensitive paperwork can be cropped safely.
Frequently asked questions
Does cropping delete the content outside the box?
Cropping sets the PDF's visible area (the crop box). Viewers and printers show only the region you chose, but the underlying data remains inside the file. Don't use cropping to hide confidential information — that requires redaction.
Can I crop all pages at once?
Yes — draw the rectangle once and keep "Apply to all pages" selected. The same relative crop is applied to every page.
Can I undo a crop?
Your original file is untouched — the tool downloads a new copy. If you crop too tightly, just run the tool again on the original.
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. Cropping happens entirely in your browser.
